Out of Paper

First I confuse a small child, then I discover that my 12 year old is looking at pictures of naked groups of women, and now The Office is ending?!  I'm not really sure why, but for nine years this show  has been the highlight of my Thursday nights more often than not and I'm not ready to let it go.  It's like that completly entertaining movie that you hate to walk away from when it ends. It filled the hole left by the great ER and now it's just one of those shows that they will make collector edition DVDS for.  There will be no more impromptu songs from Andy, malcontent comments from Dwight, or irritated looks from Jim.

Parks and Recreation is up there but I haven't been following it consistently and so the emotional bond with the characters just isn't there. I would have to go back to the beginning to fully appreciate it and even then I just don't think it make me laugh as much.  Maybe if I have a large frozen margarita I won't feel the tear drop roll down my cheek.  I will miss you, The Office.
