I can't tell if Adam Duritz looks more like Sideshow Bob or Animal? I think he's some sort of cross between the two. The hair may resemble Bob but that's about where the likeness ends. The performance on the other hand has shades of Animal all over it. The similarities are most evident during his improv skat during "Long December". See how his head shakes wildly just like Animal's does during a concert solo. I know, Animal is a drummer and definitely doesn't have any kind of recognizable speech let alone a voice to reach lead singer status, but the level of intensity is eerily the same. Just watch the proceeding you tube clips if you don't believe me. (The footage is crystal clear and amazingly steady.)
But then again, neither that crazy muppet or that freaky Simpsons character would ever share such an adorable account of their "perfect" weekend. Two days complete with a day on the beach, plenty of food and drink, his girl Phoebe, and the new Harry Potter ride. How cute is that? See, deep down underneath all that hair and passion, he's really just The Rain King with a sweet heart.
