One year ago today Little E came into the world and now look at him. Scampering around all bow legged, standing up on the edge of the furniture, "fixing" the cabinets with his trusty tiny toy hammer, five front teeth, "Daisy" this and "Daisy" that, ... HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY EMMETT! We're sorry we are hundreds of miles away and can't be there to see the look of pure joy in your eyes as you play with all the boxes your new toys came in, but just know we raise a bottle to you nevertheless. Enjoy your cake, if all the excitement hasn't sent you into a nap by then, (go for the frosting first, it's the best part) and try not to style your hair with your ice cream.
