Going the Distance



We did it, we did it, just like Dora and Boots, little E! You're cruising the living room and I'm working Kennedy St. for free! (Thanks for all of the smiley poses. They are sweeter than any ice cream flavor Ben and Jerry could ever invent and have saved me from reaching for the chocolate more times than I'd like to admit.)

And Uncle Joel said he didn't think we had it in us? Well, we all know how full of it he is, don't we? Keep up the good work. You are the most extraordinary Cummiskey yet-our greatest hope and a true inspiration to Irish people everywhere. Remember what I said though about doing squats in your bouncer. Go for the biggest range of motion and no more than 10reps. If it's too difficult, adapt it to fit the level that you're at. You don't want to overdo it and injure yourself. There is also no shame in holding onto furniture until your quads are strong enough to support you. Just keep zipping along and you'll be chasing your doggie in no time. If goofy Joel can walk with his head is up his ass,(sorry- I mean bootie, Aunt E. has trucker mouth disease), then you should have no problem.
