Breaking The Cycle

It was one of those perfect nights. The air was warm, the clouds were stretched out in thin ribbons surrounding a full moon, the street was quiet, and Timmy finally pedaled his bike without his training wheels! He kept asking if I was surprised but I told him I knew he could do it all along. Maybe someday,(when he's a parent himself), he'll actually listen to his mother. Sometimes it can take quite awhile to learn not to doubt yourself.
